Bio-Security & Animal Health

Bio-security and animal health are related when terrorists threaten agriculture to create fear. Bio-security can be achieved by taking steps to guard against natural and man-made disasters. For example, by increasing our knowledge and awareness of animal health, farming and ranching communities can be better prepared to detect diseases such as “mad cow” disease that threaten the availability of our high quality food supply.
