Reception Status

WPR operates more than 20 broadcast sites throughout the state. From time to time, problems with reception may occur. Signal problems may be caused for a variety of reasons including: loss of electrical power at the broadcast site, ice buildup on the broadcast antenna, or problems with the transmitter itself.

If you are experiencing signal problems not mentioned below, please call 307-766-3531 or email our engineering coordinator, stoven@uwyo.edu to let us know.

Current Status:

KDUW, Douglas and KUWC, Casper are currently experiencing outages of the HD Radio signal due to equipment failure. The analog signals are unaffected. We expect to have the HD signals back on the air within the next week.
