Bob Beck
Bob Beck has been the News Director at Wyoming Public Radio since 1988.  Prior to his time at WPR, Bob was a news and sportscaster at a variety of stations in Wyoming and Illinois.  He also had a brief career as a television weatherman.  Bob also hosts news specials on Wyoming Public Television, and is an award winning Instructor at the University of Wyoming.  He has covered the Wyoming Legislature longer then any other broadcaster.   Over the years, Bob has received a number of state and national awards, and has received special association honors for stories about education, children and impaired driving.  Bob is a graduate of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and a native of Wheaton, Illinois.

Peter O'Dowd

Peter O'Dowd comes to Wyoming Public Radio from Phoenix, Ariz., where he worked for several years in print journalism. He was the managing editor of Arizona Business Magazine and a news editor and reporter for a local newspaper. Before entering the media world, Peter lived in and traveled through Japan teaching English to businessmen and young kids. Peter graduated from Columbia University in May of 2007 with a masters degree in journalism. He studied non-fiction writing at Georgetown University, where he graduated with honors

Elsa Heidorn Partan
Elsa Heidorn joined Wyoming Public Radio in August of 2006 as a reporter.  Previously she was a producer at NPR member station WCAI in Woods Hole, Massachusetts and worked in immigration law.  As a student, she interned at Living On Earth, the public radio environmental news magazine, and worked as a reporter for the student station UniRadio in Berlin, Germany.  Elsa has an MS in journalism from Columbia University, where she graduated with honors and won a Pulitzer traveling fellowship.  Elsa graduated Magna cum laude from Bryn Mawr College with a BA in philosophy and German.  Her hometown is “Chair City,” otherwise known as Gardner, Massachusetts.
 
Addie Goss
Addie Goss joined Wyoming Public Radio in November 2007 as a host and reporter.  Previously she was a producer at NPR headquarters, working with Weekend All Things Considered, All Things Considered and Day to Day.  Addie graduated magna cum laude from Brown University with a degree in Science and Society – long story, ask her some time.  As a student, she interned with WBUR's The Connection, and founded and executive produced a news program called Off the Beat at Brown Student Radio.  Immediately before joining WPR, Addie lived in Mali, West Africa, where she recorded the life stories of women in the village of Yirimadjo.  She grew up in Los Angeles, New Jersey, and Pocatello, Idaho.
