Vescular Stomatitis in Native Rodents
 

   Vesicular stomatitis is a vesiculating disease of cattle and horses which can be mistaken for foot and mouth disease.   For that reason, in addition to its intriguing epidemiology, it is a disease of considerable regulatory and diagnostic interest.  Dr. Todd Cornish studied VS for his doctoral dissertation and is currently involved in developing rapid diagnostic assays for the disease.
