Mammalian Pathobiology

Mammalian pathobiology is a new upper division undergraduate and graduate level course being offered through the Department of Veterinary Sciences. It is taught be three veterinary pathologists. This course acquaints students with the anatomical basis of disease in non-human mammals. It emphasizes concepts of disease, and gross, microscopic, and clinicopathological changes associated with disease. The course covers cell injury and death; cellular degeneration; disturbances of growth and circulation; neoplasia; inflammation; and recognition of gross and microscopic tissue changes.

Audience: Wildlife Biology Majors, Pre-Vet Students
