Thursday, Feb. 24, 8 p.m. UW Cultural Programs presents the Aquila Theatre production of Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night," UW College of Arts and Sciences auditorium. Friday, Feb. 25, 10 a.m. -- The Milward Simpson Distinguished Lecture Series presents William Webster, former director of both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Central Intelligence Agency, "Protecting Our Homeland," Wyoming Union Yellowstone Ballroom. Free.

Friday, Feb. 25, 6:30 and 8 p.m. UW Planetarium show "Lovers and Heroes: Tales of Death, Danger and Endless Love in the Stars," across from the Science Library. Tickets for each show cost $2 for students and senior citizens, $3 for the public and free for children age five and under.

Saturday, Feb. 26, 7:30 p.m. The UW Creating Writing Program presents award winning poet Major Jackson as the featured poetry slam reader, Trinity Coffeehouse, 113 Grand Ave. Area poets are invited to have three original poems ready to compete for a selection of prizes. Free.
