Oct. 29, 2004 -- Drew Folk of Mullen, Neb., has accepted a teaching assistant position with the University of Wyoming Department of History.
The son of Lois Folk and the late Lewis D. Folk, Drew is working with Phil Roberts, a professor who specializes in Wyoming history. Folk's interests include 20th century America and the American West.
"I chose the UW history department because it offers a strong program in my fields of interest," Folk says. "We also have a very close knit, family environment that provides a positive and fun learning environment."
A 1997 graduate of Mullen High School, Folk received a B.A. degree in history with minors in business administration and humanities at Chadron State College.
