Ethics Workshop Thursday at UW |

Oct. 11, 2005 -- Moral issues and reasoning in education, including the ethics of teaching and ethical conduct in research, will be the focus of a workshop Thursday, Oct. 13, at the University of Wyoming.
"Ethics in Teaching, Research and Beyond" will be from 3-5 p.m. in the Wyoming Union Family Room. The workshop is open to graduate and undergraduate students and faculty.
Don Roth, Graduate School dean, and O.C. Ferrell, Bill Daniels Distinguished Professor of Business Ethics, will give opening remarks. Presenters are Robert Kelley, College of Health Sciences dean; Ed Sherline, head of the philosophy department; and College of Law Professor Elaine Welle.
A discussion is planned at the end of the workshop and refreshments will be available. The UW Graduate School, the Department of Philosophy and the Ellbogen Center for Teaching and Learning sponsor the event.
