UW Graduate School Honors and Award Winners

April 26, 2007 -- Students were honored for diverse research projects during the recent Graduate Symposium at the University of Wyoming. A wide variety of projects were presented and reviewed by judges at the two-day event in the Wyoming Union.

The annual symposium is an opportunity for graduate students in all disciplines to showcase their achievements by participating in either poster or oral presentations.

Oral presentation winners listed by their hometowns and departments were:

The Graduate School also announced the winners of awards for teaching and research achievements during the 2006-2007 academic year. Recipients will be honored at a luncheon on Wednesday, May 2, in the Wyoming Union Family Room.

Brian Mealor, Gainesville, Ga., renewable resources, "Native Plant Population Resilience to Exotic Invasion," directed by Ann Hild.
