DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AND FLOODPLAIN CONFIGURATION OF AN ANASTOMOSED RIVER
BASIN IN A SEMI-ARID WATERSHED: LITTLE LARAMIE RIVER BASIN
(WYO-415-07)
Anastomosing rivers are locally important agricultural areas but poorly
understood scientifically with respect to their stability and susceptibility
to management and agricultural utilization. This project will further our
understanding of how anastomosed rivers form, how they have changed over
time, and how they may be sensitive to management practices in their
maintenance.
