MOLECULAR MECHANISMS REGULATING SKELETAL MUSCLE GROWTH AND DIFFERENTIATION
(WYO-411-07)
Enhancing lean growth in livestock is crucial for the sustainability and
profitability of the animal industry. Myogenic cells derived from precursor
cells have a crucial role in skeletal muscle growth. The effect of nutrient
and other external factors on the development of myogenic precursor cells
are poorly studied. The purpose of this project is to show these underlying
mechanisms, which will be important for enhancing lean growth in livestock.
