PERSISTENCE OF INSUFFICIENT LUTEAL PHASES AND FERTILITY

Infertility remains a problem in domestic livestock and causes are poorly understood. Recent evidence suggests that insufficient luteal progesterone exposure may underlie the development of cystic ovaries in livestock. This project will determine whether an impoverished luteal phase has carry over effects onto the quality of subsequent luteal phases.
