Rural Communities and Public Lands in the West: Impacts and Alternatives – WYO-349-00

 

Local communities are in conflict over the general directions and specific actions of public lands policy. This project will provide scholarly research, extension, and educational programs that will improve the knowledge base upon which public land management decisions are made. Consistent economic models will be developed for various western states so that future requests for impact assessment and input can be accomplished in a timely manner.
