Personal Care Attendants
The hiring, supervision of, and payment to personal care attendants is the responsibility of the student needing attendant services. UDSS will assist students in locating applicants for personal care attendants. Publicizing employment opportunities in the Branding Iron, on bulletin boards in the Union, in the Student Health/Nursing Building, and with the Human Resources office (139 Wyoming Hall) are excellent ways of recruiting prospects.
Students living in the residence halls who have live-in care attendants can
negotiate reduced living costs for the attendant with the Residence Hall Office.
Live-in attendants who are not students may also be able to purchase meal
privileges in Washakie Center.
