Degree Programs > MSN Master of Science in NursingThe Masters program offers a specialty in rural health. Students can use their elective hours to take course work to further prepare them for teaching in nursing. Programs of study are available for master's prepared nurses who wish to become FNPs, for certified nurse practitioner's (CNP) who wish to earn a master's degree, and for nurses with non-nursing baccalaureates. Applicants are held to the graduate admission criteria. Nurses with a baccalaureate degree may enroll in selected courses as enrichment students. Up to 12 credit hours taken as an enrichment student may be applied to the master's degree, if the student subsequently applies and is admitted to the graduate program. |
