Winter Session Call for Proposals

 

The Office of Academic Affairs invites proposals for Winter Session 2008-2009 course subsidies. Proposals are due at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 6, 2007. For the 2008-2009 Winter Session, faculty-led study abroad courses will be subsidized. Preference will be given to tenured and tenure-track faculty and extended-term and extended-term-track academic professionals.

The purpose of this initiative is to increase opportunities for students to study abroad in areas of the world where it is either not conducive or not appealing to teach in the summer due to climate factors like high temperatures or monsoons.
