Conceptual Foundations

The mission, programs, and services of the Division of Student Affairs are based on conceptual foundations described in the philosophical student-environment model of the American Council on Education; the comprehensive body of research and knowledge underlying student development and learning theories; and the mission statement of the University of Wyoming. Knowledge of these philosophies will assist all members of the campus community in understanding the work of Student Affairs in supporting students, faculty, and the teaching/learning process.
