Fall 2009 Registration

New Drop-in Registration Process and Location for Returning students

Fine Arts Building, Room 240 (Main floor, across from the Music Office)

· Thursday, August 27, 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.

· Friday, August 28, 2:00 – 6:00 p.m.

· Saturday, August 29, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon

Pay fees (for the fall semester or for the entire year)

Fill out forms: registration form, model release form, student/parent obligation form

Sign up for your class times if you are a 2^nd year student

Schedule High Plains Sinfonia audition (optional for 6^th – 9th graders only)

Tuition and Fees

· 1st Year: $110/year $60/semester (additional $10 late fee after September 30)

· 2nd Year: $110/year $60/semester (additional $10 late fee after September 30)

· 3rd Year and beyond: $130/year $70/semester (additional $10 late fee after September 30)

All fees include a $5 materials fee per semester

Fees for 3^rd Year and beyond include a 30-minute private lesson and participation in either the UWSP Ensemble, the High Plains Sinfonia (6^th – 9^th grade, by audition) or the Advanced Chamber Ensemble (10^th – 12^th grade).

Important UWSP Policies

· All UWSP students are required to participate in their school orchestra

· All students in their 3^rd year and beyond are required to participate in a String Project ensemble

· Students who discontinue study through the UWSP cannot re-enter the program
