Start of Classes and Lessons

2nd Year Classes

  • Friday September 4 at 4:10 WELCOME BACK PIZZA PARTY in Fine Arts Band Room (Room.132)
  • Regular schedule begins on September 8: Tuesdays at 3:30 or 4:30 p.m. in 1820 Willet Drive AND Fridays 4:10-5:00 p.m. in the Fine Arts Building Band Room  (Room 132)

 

Private Lessons for students in the 3rd year and higher

  • Tuesday September 8 at 6:00 – MEET YOUR TEACHERS AND SCHEDULE YOUR LESSONS
    UW Fine Arts Building Choir Room  (Room 128)
    At this meeting you will
    • *Meet your teachers  *Pick up practice books  *Schedule your private lesson
    • *Discuss the format of the program  *Discuss expectations and schedule issues
    • Private lessons take place on Tuesdays and Fridays between 3:30-6:00 pm and will begin on Friday, September 11
  • UW String Project Ensemble for 3rd year students and higher
    Mondays, 7:00-8:00 p.m. beginning on Monday, September 15
    At UW Lab School  Band Room

 

High Plains Sinfonia for students in 6th-9th grade by audition

  • Mondays, 7:00-8:15 p.m.
  • Auditions: Monday, Sept. 8 beginning at 6:30 p.m. Sign up for an audition time at registration, See enclosed information sheet for audition information
  • First rehearsal: Monday, September 15, 7:00 p.m. at UW Lab School Band Rm.

Advanced Chamber Ensemble for students in 10th – 12th grades
