o       Call the RMMC for all the requirements.  One must have taken a class prior to being a “shipper” of hazardous materials.

o       Yes, you are actually signing that you are aware and approve of all the materials within the package.  If there is hazardous materials in the box and you sign that there are not, or do not have the appropriate paperwork attached, the package spills or causes a problem, YOU WILL be responsible and could be fined by the DOT.
