Grace Period


A grace period is a period of time during which you don't have to repay your loan. It is provided so that you will have time to find the financial resources with which to repay your loan. The grace period on most loans will start six to nine months after you borrow the loan, graduate, or leave school; however, it varies from loan to loan.
