NATIONAL SCIENCE AND MATHEMATICS ACCESS TO RETAIN TALENT GRANT (SMART)


The National SMART grant is an award for third and fourth year students with majors in the fields of Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, and Critical Foreign Languages.   In order to qualify for this award you must meet the following criteria.

  •     U.S. Citizen
  •     Federal Pell Grant Recipient
  •     Third or fourth year student majoring in an eligible program
  •     Full-time enrollment
  •     Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 in an eligible program

Eligible students receive $4,000 per academic year in the third and fourth years in an eligible program.
