Academic Competitiveness Grant (ACG)


The ACG is a Federal award offered for first and second year students.  In order to qualify for this award, you must meet the following criteria.

  •     U.S. Citizen.
  •     Federal Pell Grant Recipient.
  •     First or second year student in a two or four year degree program.
  •     Full-time enrollment.

In addition, eligible first year students will:

  •     Have graduated from a rigorous secondary school program of study.
  •     Not have been previously enrolled in a program of undergraduate education.

Eligible second year students will:

  •     Have completed 30 or more credit hours of undergraduate study
  •     have at least a 3.00 GPA in an eligible program.

First year students receive $750 per academic year.

Second year students receive $1,300 per academic year.
