Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP)

 

The FAFSA form must be completed before the Financial Aid Office can determine your eligibility for Stafford and PLUS Loans.  The University of Wyoming does not routinely package Federal PLUS or Federal Grad PLUS loans.  If you would like information on your eligibility regarding these loans, please contact a loan officer within the office.

Federal Stafford Loan

 

Note: Beginning September 1, 2009, any student who is borrowing a Stafford loan for the first time at the University of Wyoming is required to choose a lender before their loan can be certified. Your loan(s) must also be accepted on WyoWeb. Please complete the Stafford Loan Lender Form which will link you to the Master Promissory Note (MPN) for the lender of your choice.  If your choice of lender is not listed, please contact the Student Financial Aid office for guidance.

Federal Plus Loan

 

Note: All applicants for Federal PLUS loans must complete a loan request form for each loan and for each student.

Federal Grad Plus Loan

 

Note: All applicants for Federal Grad PLUS loans must complete a loan request form for each loan.

Private Loan

Note: Students should exhaust all Federal student loan eligibility before considering private loans.
