The FAFSA is a form you are required to fill out if you want to get any financial aid awards that are based on need. This type of aid consists of federal grants, loans and work-study. The FAFSA will help us determine what type of aid you want, how much aid you're eligible for, and what your expected family contribution (EFC) is. First apply for a PIN at www.pin.ed.gov. You will need a PIN to electronically sign your FAFSA. If you are a dependent student, your parents should also apply for a PIN so they can electronically sign your FAFSA. Your PIN will be e-mailed or mailed within 1 to 5 days after applying. You can complete the FAFSA (and the Renewal FAFSA) electronically by going to www.fafsa.ed.gov. You will receive a Student Aid Report (SAR) Information Acknowledgement in the mail about 2 weeks after submitting your online FAFSA. If you provided your e-mail address you will receive an e-mail with a link to your SAR on the Web in no more than 5 days. Review your SAR and make sure the information is correct. You can make corrections to your data online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Please feel free to contact our office for concerns or problems with the electronic filing of the FAFSA.
Our Federal School Code (for the FAFSA) is 003932.
