Location

Wheatland is set amid the farms and ranches of the picturesque Richeau Hills of southeastern Wyoming. Wheatland, only 70 miles north of Cheyenne, is the county seat and largest town in Platte County.

Climate

Average daily temperatures in Wheatland range from about 38° in January to 73° in July. Wheatland averages about 14" of rain and about 34" of snow but still averages about 310 days of sunshine each year.
