Saratoga
Student Comments
LocationSaratoga is a small town with the North Platte River, a "Blue Ribbon Trout Stream," running through the middle of it. The North Platte Valley is flanked by the Sierra Mountains to the west and the Snowy Range Mountains to the east, so there are spectacular mountain views. Deer, elk and antelope are abundant with some moose and mountain sheep. There are also two golf courses and a hotspring in the area. The 2000 edition of National Geographic's "Guide to Small Town Escapes" included Saratoga, commenting on the town's charm, authenticity, and tranquility.
