Location
Douglas is located on the North Platte River near Laramie Peak and the Medicine Bow National Forest. Founded as a railroad town when tracks were laid across central-eastern Wyoming, it's been the home of the Wyoming State Fair since 1904. At the height of summer, highs average in the 80's. In December and January, highs average in the mid-30's. January lows average in the single digits while July lows are only in the mid-50's.Contact
