Oct. 19, 2004 -- The University of Wyoming is offering a directory to help students and faculty members locate materials and assistance pertaining to diversity on campus.

The President's Advisory Committee on Minority and Women's Affairs (PACMWA) produced the Directory of Resources Affirming Diversity at the University of Wyoming.

"We assess the campus climate for diversity, support departments and programs with a diversity focus, and provide to the campus an annual report with recommendations for consideration," says Francisco Rios, PACMWA chairman.

The directory offers information on campus resources such as the Office of Multicultural Affairs, Multicultural Resource Center, Rainbow Resource Center, Learning Resource Center, Wyoming Institute for Disabilities, UW departments, recognized student organizations, and library audio visual services. The directory also offers information on video resources and curriculum packages.

The directory is available online in PDF format at www.uwyo.edu/pacmwa/Default.htm and printed copies have been distributed to all instructors of the Intellectual Community courses. For more information call Rios at 766-4055, e-mail frios@uwyo.edu.
