and Trademark Depository LibraryThe Patent and Trademark Depository Library (PTDL) is a valuable resource for local businesses, researchers, students, teachers, historians, and independent inventors. They provide education on intellectual property protection (i.e. patents, trademarks, and copyrights) and help in navigating the databases that store such information.

Business Development Center
The Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is Wyoming's source for business assistance, information and support.
U.W. Research Office
The Research Office works with faculty, staff and students in all seven colleges and UW's outreach programs to link research, technology transfer, and economic development efforts to enhance federal, state and private sector support for faculty and graduate student scholarship.
Venture West Network
Venture West Network is a volunteer organization founded in order to provide a support network to businesses. It enables entrepreneurs, service providers, corporate executives, investors, venture capitalists and other business people to interact on a regular basis in a professional setting. The club currently meets once per quarter, each time in a different city within the State of Wyoming.

Business CouncilThe State of Wyoming created the Wyoming Business Council to focus public and private efforts on building a strong job base in the new economy. With manufacturing and technology as core competencies, the WBC strengthens the existing business and industry groups under minerals and energy, agriculture, tourism and travel.

InitiativeThe Wyoming SBIR/STTR Initiative (WSSI): The Mission of the WSSI is to assist all qualified Wyoming small businesses and individuals in accessing the funding opportunities provided by the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Programs.

The WTBC, a technology-related business incubator, will assist Wyoming
entrepreneurs through educational and mentoring programs, business services
and appropriate tenant space and infrastructure. A state-of-the art
information technology center will be installed to support companies with
very specific high-capacity information technology needs

Women's Business CenterThrough business counseling and training, the Wyoming Women's Business
Center (WWBC) provides current and prospective women business owners with the
resources to solve their business challenges.
