2/21/09: 13 residents enjoyed a day of snowshoeing in Tie City, Happy Jack. They learned the basics of snowshoeing including trail etiquette and how to walk with them from RA Bryce. They also learned about hypothermia including the signs and what to do. We were led through powder and trails that led us to the Happy Jack sled hill. We were greeted with hot chocolate, brownies and hot dogs! We finally returned to the vehicles and headed back to Laramie. |
