The Washakie Dining Center is the centerpiece of the residential dining program on the University of Wyoming campus. The Washakie Dining Center features marketplace dining with seven serving platforms placed throughout the dining center. The benefit to you is greater personalization of individual dishes and food prepared fresh before your eyes. Preparing food in this manner also allows the dining center to accommodate changing trends while creating an interactive, sensory dining experience. Additionally, the Washakie Dining Center offers vegetarians menu items on a daily basis. You can conveniently access the Washakie Dining Center in a variety of ways. Swipe your UW WyoOne Card, or pay with cash or a credit card (Visa and MasterCard are accepted). You can also use your PLU$$ or cash you have deposited on your UW WyoOne Card account. The Washakie Dining Center features seven varied platforms that offer selections to please your palate day after day.
The Grand Grill: Are you hungry for your all-time favorite hamburger? Or maybe a grilled cheese, a cheese steak, or a Philly grilled chicken breast sandwich? The Grand Grill offers a variety of sandwiches and specialty items daily.
Classic Cuisine: If you are looking forward to something more traditional, you’ll frequent this station. Hot entrées from roast top round of beef served with garlic mashed potatoes to pork loin topped with raspberry relish and glazed carrots are just a few examples of the treats waiting for you at this station.
The Pizzeria: We have the best pizza in town! Not only do we serve a very popular cheese and pepperoni pizza, but we also offer daily upscale selections as well. Examples of these might include white garlic chicken alfredo, portabella fontina, or our tasty South of the Border taco-style pizza.
Lettuce ‘n’ Ladle: It’s a real soup and salad bar extravaganza! Graze through our assorted seasonal fresh veggies, greens, specialty salads, and numerous daily soup selections. We also offer a nacho bar every day.
World of Flavors: The aromatic smell of garlic and ginger will immediately draw you to our Mongolian Wok. Customize your dish and our chef will finish it off for you. See which daily pasta selections are offered at the Fire and Ice sauté station.
The Sandwich Station: Create your own deli sandwich with assorted toppings and sides, or try our recommended selection of the day. You’ll find an abundance of meats, cheeses, breads, and spreads for you to ponder. Finally, have your sandwich toasted to perfection if you so choose.
Breakfast & More: Grab a little of this or a little of that! Top off your meal with a sweet something from our Rolling Mill Bakery, or toast a bagel for a lighter breakfast. Breakfast & More also features waffles all day long.
