UW Libraries Acquire New Electronic Journals |

Jan. 30, 2006 -- University of Wyoming Libraries have acquired a package of more than 200 electronic journals published by SAGE Publications.
Included are 68 existing print subscriptions that now are available in electronic format only, says Janis Leath, associate librarian with the collections development department. The remaining titles are new additions to the libraries' collection.
The electronic SAGE package cost slightly less than the existing 68 paper subscriptions and includes an inflation price cap through 2008, which will save University Libraries around 5 percent annually in inflation costs on subscription prices.
The electronic journals include titles in the areas of communication studies, criminology, education, management and organization studies, materials science, nursing and health sciences, political science, psychology, sociology, and urban studies and planning.
The SAGE titles are available online at www-lib.uwyo.edu/articlesmore. For more information call the Reference Desk at 766-2070 or visit www-lib.uwyo.edu/services/help.htm. Posted on Monday, January 30, 2006
