ROTC Commissioning Ceremony Scheduled at UW |

May 13, 2004 -- Col. Michael H. Witt, commander of the 90th Security Forces Group at Francis E. Warren AFB, will be the keynote speaker at the Army/Air Force commissioning ceremony Saturday, May 15, at the University of Wyoming.
Witt will speak at 6 p.m. at the Fine Arts Center concert hall. He directs law enforcement activities and security operations for 150 Minuteman III and 50 Peacekeeper intercontinental ballistic missiles deployed over a 12,600 square-mile area in Wyoming, Colorado and Nebraska.
The graduating students are newly-commissioned officers in the United States armed forces, having completed a rigorous military training program while pursuing their undergraduate degrees at UW. ROTC members receive gold bars for the rank of second lieutenant.
