May 21, 2004 -- Top University of Wyoming seniors have been selected as the 2004-2005 President's Senior Class Ambassadors (PSCA), who will be involved in numerous activities to promote and support the university.

President Philip L. Dubois selected the new members, who were nominated by diverse campus departments and organizations.

"Students selected into this high-profile group have the opportunity to network with influential UW alumni and friends, while assisting UW with donor relations activities," says Mya Sjogren, UW Foundation stewardship coordinator and PSCA adviser. "PSCA members also will help promote philanthropy among their peers and strengthen relationships between UW and its constituents, including members of the senior class, alumni and friends."

The PSCA members will represent the university at donor-related functions, help promote and determine a senior class gift to UW and notify juniors and seniors of UW's Connect Online opportunities for UW alumni.

They also attend meetings, seminars and functions with UW boards and donors. After graduation, PSCA alumni are encouraged to become UW National Ambassadors in their respective communities.
