Former POW Is Television Program Guest |

May 25, 2004 -- Bernard Fitzgerald, a retired University of Wyoming faculty member, will discuss his experiences as a World War II prisoner of war during an informational program that can be seen at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, May 30, on KCWC, Wyoming Public Television. The program will be repeated at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 2.
A professor in the UW Department of Psychology from 1967-1986, Fitzgerald will be a guest on a Memorial Day segment of the monthly UW magazine "Wyoming Signatures." Before joining UW, he was director of psychological services at the Wyoming State Hospital in Evanston and director of the Park County Mental Health Center in Cody.
Walter Werner, a visiting professor in the UW Department of Economics and Finance, will be this month's other guest. With a combined 50 years experience with the New York, Chicago and Singapore stock markets, Werner will suggest ways to develop and stick to an invest plan.
University of Wyoming Television produces "Wyoming Signatures." KCWC can be seen off-air or via cable in several Wyoming communities, including Casper, Cheyenne, Laramie, Riverton, Lander, Rock Springs, Green River, Powell, Cody, Sheridan, Gillette, Jackson, Pinedale, and Big Piney.
