Jo Marie is the Undergraduate advising coordinator and office manager for the Political Science Department.  She also teaches the I/L course, POLS 1111, for political science freshmen students.  She has been at the Political Science Department since the fall of 1992, and at the University of Wyoming since 1988.  Prior to joining the Political Science Department, she gained UW experience at Student Financial Aid, the Graduate School and Student Educational Opportunity.  A graduate of UW, Jo Marie earned her master of public administration and an undergraduate degree in business management with a minor in sociology.

Both natives of Laramie, Jo Marie and her husband James have three children.  Their family also consists of three border collies, cats, and a Tennessee Walker horse.  They love to spend time outdoors at their home outside of Laramie and spend as much time as possible boating and camping around Wyoming.  Jo Marie is active in dog training, especially dog agility, and helps her daughter with her dog training business.

Jamie is the Graduate coordinator and is a University of Wyoming graduate in Political Science and Environmental & Natural Resources.  She also finished up her Masters in Public Administration this spring.  Prior to joining the department, she gained UW experience in the Department of Animal Science in the College of Agriculture.

Jamie is from Newcastle, Wyoming where she grew up enjoying family and their ranch in the Black Hills and also lived in West Texas for six years.  Her husband, Brian is a graduate of the UW College of Business in Finance and Real Estate and is in management at UniWyo Federal Credit Union.

They have both been Laramie residents for ten years and enjoy exploring and being outdoors in the region with their malamute, Lexie.  This summer brought their first rafting trip in Colorado.

Jamie would like to thank the Arts & Sciences College Student Council for recently honoring her with the Outstanding Student Service Award.
