3. Paper presented "Probabilistic Knowledge of the Status Quo Under the Veil" at the 32nd Annual Conference on Value Inquiry held at Lousisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana April 8 - 11

Marvin Music from Laramie, WY. Is currently in Baton Rouge, working on his Thesis, while his wife attends school.

Interests: Political Philosophy and Ethical Theory. Environmental Ethics, Animal Rights and Environmental Justice. I am currently working on the feasibility of using Just War Theory to work out specific Environmental Conflicts.

Bruce Buchanan from Indiana.  Studied at Eastern Kentucky University, University of Vienna (Austria), Harvard, and the University of Kentucky. 

  • M.A. at UW Spring 2005: Continued education in the PhD program at Southern Illinois University.

Interests: I'm currently interested in the philosophical problems which arise from the tendency in philosophy, "science" and common sense to consider ideas as "things" (Reification). I'm also interested in German language philosophy from Kant to Wittgenstein.  Other interests include Philosophy of Ecology, Metaphilosophy, Critical Theory, Nietzsche, James, and Dewey.
