The
fully accredited
FNP Certificate Program (post-master's) provides the registered nurse who has a
master's degree in nursing the opportunity to become a family nurse
practitioner. The emphasis of the program is on courses that prepare
the nurse for advanced practice with individuals and families
throughout the lifespan. Clinical practice is a major component of the
program. After completion of those courses specified for FNP's, the
student is eligible to take the national certifying examinations.
