As a graduate prepared Nurse Educator, you would be able to teach in undergraduate nursing education programs and in health care continuing education settings. In this advanced practice role, you would demonstrate leadership in the implementation and evaluation of educational programs in rural settings. This includes assessment of learning needs of students, planning educational curricula, implementing educational methodologies, and evaluating both student learning and program outcomes. As a graduate, you would meet the Wyoming State Board of Nursing's minimum educational requirements for teaching in State of Wyoming accredited nursing programs. To meet a different state's requirements, check with the State Board of Nursing for that state to see if you need to have additional coursework completed. You may then take that coursework as electives in our program.
