Transcripts:
-
As part of your application for RN Licensure, the
State Board of Nursing (for the state through which you are seeking
licensure) must receive an official transcript from the University of
Wyoming reflecting receipt of the BSN degree.
-
Please complete your transcript request online
through
WyoWeb for transcripts to be sent to the State Board of Nursing
(again, for the state through which you are seeking licensure) no
later than the end of the semester in which you are graduating.
- In your WyoWeb account, select Student Resources tab
- Then look for your Academic Profile channel
- Then scroll down the text and click on the Transcripts section
- Along the bottom of that page, find this link: "Request Printed
Transcript" You can monitor the status of your
transcript request through WyoWeb through the above stated links and
then click on "Transcript Request Status." Transcripts should start
being released as degrees are posted (approximately 3-4 weeks
following graduation). Be sure to mark the form for the following: "Hold for posting of degree."

Transcripts will not be released by the

university. Please be sure that all holds have been cleared with the
university.
-

WyoWeb or
contact Accounts Receivable, (307) 766-6232, to verify whether or
not you have any active holds on your records.
-
If your transcript is not released and received
by the State Board of Nursing, you will be unable to sit for the
NCLEX exam.
Official Notification of Graduation:
-
The Wyoming State Board requires official
notification of graduation from the School of Nursing. The Wyoming
State Board is the only state we automatically notify of graduation.
(Our notification will take place following graduation, once
our office determines that all of your course requirements have been
satisfied.) This notification will enable you to be able to obtain a
temporary permit in the State of Wyoming, if requested, until you are
eligible to sit for the NCLEX exam and obtain your RN licensure.
-
If you are seeking RN licensure in a state other
than Wyoming, and that state requires a letter or form (e.g.,
"Affidavit of Graduation") to be completed by the School, please
contact Debbie Shoefelt
directly, room 106 or at 766-4292, for assistance with that process.
