Professional Participation

  • Researched and wrote medical protocols for Casper-Natrona County Public Health STD and Family Planning Clinic.

  • Facilitated Protocol review for Wyoming Reproductive Council.

  • Co-authored a Smoking Cessation Model for Casper-Natrona County Public Health Department.

  • Assisted in the writing of the Title X, Family Planning Grant from Wyoming Reproductive Council.  Received funding.

  • Reviewed and updated client information forms currently used at Casper-Natrona County Public Health Department as part of Quality Assurance responsibilities.

  • Served as advisor for Welcome Home Team at Public Health.  Assisted in the design format for home visitation program that focused on Maternal/Child health issues and was funded by Wyoming Legislature.

  • Course Coordinator for Nursing 2240 - Medical Terminology; Nursing 3020 - Family as Client; N3040 - Assessment across the Lifespan; N4870- Transition Practicum for the University of Wyoming School of Nursing RN/BSN Completion Program.  Also have been responsible for instruction in the following courses:

    • Community Health Clinical

    • Health Promotion Clinical

    • Choice Based Clinical

    • Pediatric Content for Fall 2000 students in Laramie

    • Designed and implemented three Internet Courses that are currently being used in the University of Wyoming School of Nursing RN/BSN Completion Program.

  • Recruitment and advising responsibilities for students regarding programs offered through University of Wyoming School of Nursing.

  • Guest Speaker at the 1st Annual Rural Health conference held May 16-18, 2001 in Laramie, Wyoming.
