Congratulations to
Dr. Virginia Conley

Recipient of 2008
American Academy of Nurse Practitioner's
(AANP)
"State Award for Excellence"
for Wyoming

Dr. Conley is Assistant Professor for the Fay W. Whitney School of Nursing. The State Award for Excellence recognizes a nurse practitioner (NP) who demonstrates excellence in practice, research, NP education or community affairs. Conley will be recognized at the national AANP conference June 26-July 1, 2008 in National Harbor, Maryland.

Despite having a full-time teaching and research load at the Fay W. Whitney School of Nursing, Conley has been serving as director of the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) master's program option in addition to mentoring several FNP faculty members, faithfully continuing her clinical practice and FNP student teaching. She is well-respected by her clinician colleagues and patients alike. Conley loves teaching and is always actively recruiting FNP students to her practice sites.  Our school is proud to spotlight Dr. Conley's achievements and offers our hearty congratulations!
