School of Nursing Immunization Policies

Immunizations must cover you through the entire academic year. If any of your required immunizations expire during that timeframe, you are required to update those prior to the start of each academic year . The only exception is the administration of the 3rd Hepatitis B vaccination if you had not completed the 3-step series prior to coming into our program.

Scroll down below for more information including costs, and time factors. Obtain required immunizations at UW Student Health (Laramie), UW Family Practice (Casper, Cheyenne) or from your healthcare provider. If you have had your immunizations through a variety of healthcare providers, take your official immunization records to your current healthcare provider or to UW Student Health. Have them  transfer and verify your immunizations on the School of Nursing Immunization Form. Do not fill out the immunization records yourself.
