About the NCNS

The NCNS is under the direction of Director Dr. Anne Bowen, PhD with the assistance of Project Coordinator, Sarah Trimmer. The center employs' G.A.'s and student workers that assist with various components of research projects, implementation activities, and general operational activities. 

 

Dr. Anne M. Bowen, PhD Clinical Psychology - Director

Anne oversees the operations of the center with specific focus on future sustainability and promoting services within the department, College of Health Sciences, and the state. Anne's research interests include HIV prevention, behavioral medicine, and pediatric psychology.

Sarah M. Trimmer, B.S. Kinesiology & Health Promotion - Project Coordinator
 
Sarah acts as the primary coordinator and liaison to the NCNS. She's oversees all grant and project activities that run through the center. Her research interests include Health Promotion, Wellness, fertility and reproductive health, and public health.

Ashley Howe, BSN - Graduate Assistant
 
Ashley is a graduate student in the Fay W. Whitney School of Nursing Master's Program for Family Nurse Practitioner. Her research interests involve Health Promotion and Chronic Disease in adolescents.
