Wendy LaTouche
Bassoon
Wendy La Touche presently holds the position of Third Bassoon/Contrabassoon in the Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra and the Fresno Philharmonic Orchestra. She also performs as a freelancer with various orchestras in California, Nevada and Colorado. She received a Bachelors degree in Music from the University of Colorado a Boulder and a Master’s degree at the University of Utah. She is currently finishing her Doctorate degree in Music Performance (D.M.A.) with a minor in Ethnomusicology at the University of Colorado at Boulder. She has also studied and performed with music festivals in Spain, Italy and Switzerland. She has been on the Ethnomusicology faculty and taught classes at the University of Colorado at Boulder and Fresno State University in Fresno, California.
