Computers for Students

There is a ten (10) PCs lab in room 242B and a three (3) PCs lab in room 145. These labs have also networked printers for students to use. The two labs are mainly maintained by University IT, and they are recycled every three years to keep them in the best operating conditions. If you notice a problem such as a paper jam in a printer, please let the technology Student Rep (currently John E. Kincaide) know first before calling IT. You can also talk to Edward if you can't find the Rep.

The College of Law has also four Dell Latitude D630 laptops available for students to borrow. Since they are in limited supply, the laptops are mostly intended to be used in emergencies when a personal laptop becomes unusable during exams week or for class presentations.  They are checked out on a First Come First Served basis. Please see related Policies here.

    Public terminals
The Law Library provides free, public access computers for conducting legal research. These computers are located throughout the library and provide access to the library's online catalog and specially licensed legal databases. Please note that these computers do not have word processing applications available. As a Law Student, you are welcome to bring your own laptop to the library as it has a large supply of convenient power outlets.
