New Board of Advocates Named for 2008-2009

Congratulations to University of Wyoming College of Law second-year law student Jill Garrett (Class of 2009) who was chosen as the President for the 2008-2009 Board of Advocates!  Four vice-presidents were selected to head up the four areas of competition at the law school:

Jeanne Chamberlain - Pace Environmental Moot Court
Rachel Ryckman - Rothgerber, Johnson & Lyons Trial Advocacy
Rebekah Anthony - Pence & MacMillan Client Counseling
Rachael Taylor - Brown, Drew & Massey Moot Court

Outgoing members of the board are Pamela Salapich, Katie Hui, Haydee Dijkstal, Marie Lindenmayer and Cody Weagant.  A special thank you to these students for their service to the law school!

The Board of Advocates is a student organization responsible for organizing, coordinating, and publicizing the in-school competitions for the four competitions.  The Vice-Presidents for each competition take the lead on organizing their respective events, make travel arrangements and are responsible for media relations.
