Legal Research Crash Course a Success

The law librarians at the University of Wyoming College of LawTim Kearley, Deb Person, and Tawnya Plumbpresented a 4-hour CLE and student workshop on effective legal research techniques on Saturday, March 29.  The Legal Research Crash Course was sponsored by Westlaw; Lexis; Dray, Thomson & Dyekman; Hirst Applegate; the Spence Law Firm; and the law library and was designed as a review of time and cost efficient research processes using paper, online commercial, and free internet searching.  The session was well-attended, with a crowd of nearly 60 law students and local attorneys.  Breakfast was provided, and door prizes were awarded, thanks to the generous sponsorship.
