The UW College of Law Gets Chatty

On February 13^th, 2008, for the first time ever, prospective law students had the opportunity to chat online with Assistant Dean Denise Burke, Admissions and Student Services Coordinator Carol Persson, Director of Development Jill Higham, Dean’s Assistant Lisa Nunley, and current UW law students about the opportunities offered at our law school.  The chat room was open from 8:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. (MST) and enjoyed a high volume of traffic for the full three hours. Prospective students had a flurry of questions about student life, requirements for admission, program offerings, financial aid and scholarship deadlines, etc. At one point, there were over 40 prospective students present in the chat room.  The College received great feedback from participants and plans to hold similar chats in the future.
